We look forward to welcoming you to our European Conference taking place from June 4th - 6th at Hilton Molino Stucky in Venice. To help make your arrival and departure as smooth as possible, we’ve prepared some easy-to-follow travel information for getting to and from the hotel, whether you’re arriving by plane or train. Venice is a unique city built on water, and transportation is primarily via boats, so please take a moment to review the options below and plan your journey in advance.

Complimentary boats from Venice Marco Polo (VCE) to Hilton Molino Stucky on 4th June

Our complimentary boat from the airport to Hilton Molino Stucky will depart from the airport dock at the below times

Our two hostesses, Marina and Giovanna, will be present at the airport starting 30 minutes before the departure of the first water taxi, i.e., from 14:30, and will remain there until 19:00 PM, when the last group of guests will be escorted to the final boat departure.

They will be positioned in the Arrivals Hall at Venice Marco Polo airport , clearly visible with a HOWDEN sign, to make it easy for you to identify them. Upon arrival, please do not proceed to the dock on your own. Instead, look for Marina and Giovanna, who will be there to welcome you and gather as many guests as possible for the group transfer.

Approximately 10 minutes before each scheduled departure, one of the hostesses will accompany guests on foot to the dock. The other will remain in the Arrivals Hall to welcome any remaining guests.

For those who are not able to benefit from our complimentary boats, below are clear and simple directions to help you reach the hotel.

For those flying to Venice:

From Venice Marco Polo (VCE) To Hilton Molino Stucky

Option A: Alilaguna Line B Ferry
From: Alilaguna dock at Venice Marco Polo Airport (follow airport signs to the dock)
To: Giudecca Hilton stop
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Option B: Public Water bus (Vaporetto), Vaporetto line 4.1
From: Piazzale Roma (Take a taxi from VCE to Piazzale Roma then the Vaporetto from there)
To: Palanca stop + 10-minute walk to hotel (click here for Google link)
Duration: Taxi 20 min + Vaporetto 30 min + Walk 10 min to hotel

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Please note that during our stay we must comply with the *Access Fee* to the city of Venice. This refers to a fee introduced by the City of Venice that must be paid by occasional visitors on certain specified dates in 2025 to enter the historic city center. Guests staying in accommodation facilities located within the Municipality of Venice are exempt from paying the Access Fee. However, it is mandatory to complete an online registration in order to receive an exemption voucher (QR Code) and benefit from this exemption. There is no charge to obtain this.

Upon completion, a voucher with a QR code will be issued. This must be presented in the event of a check. Please note that vouchers and QR codes are personal and individual; therefore, each member of your group must complete their own registration and carry their personal exemption voucher.

It is each attendee’s responsibility to complete the registration process. We will not be liable for any fines incurred due to failure to comply with the city’s regulations.
